Job Summary
Furniture Warehouse is a rapidly expanding furniture retailer with 8 stores across the East Midlands, specialising in high quality, low cost furniture and accessories for every room in the home.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Human Resources Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various Finance and HR functions as well as generally supporting the Managing Director and Commercial Director in their day-to-day tasks, ensuring efficient operations and contributing to a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in Finance and HR systems.
Duties
- Manage employee records and maintain the HR database, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Manage Purchase Ledger entries.
- Manage employee expenses.
- Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings through ATS platforms such as Indeed.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and preparing necessary documentation.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Conduct data entry tasks related to employee information, payroll, and performance management.
- Conduct data entry tasks related to finance processes.
- Manage social media accounts for employer branding and recruitment purposes.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining files.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and training programmes.
- Complete employee scheduling and rota tasks.

- Previous administrative experience within a finance and/or human resources environment is highly desirable.

Salary: £30-32k
Contract: Permanent & full time.
