Il Trillo, Chelsea’s much-loved fine dining Italian restaurant is seeking an experienced and personable Waiter/Waitress to join it’s friendly front-of-house team on a part-time basis.
Working between 18 and 25 hours per week (across three to four days), with a wage of £14.00 per hour.
Friday and Saturday evening shifts will be locked-in permanently on the rota for this role, averaging six to seven hours, from 18:30/19:00 to 24:30 / 01:00. Tuesday nights will also be locked-in permanently, averaging four to five hours, from 18:00/19:00 to 22.30/23.00 The potential fourth shift will be allocated accordingly, depending on the bookings, on Wednesday or Thursday evenings, or a weekend lunchtime.
As Waiter/Waitress, you will work alongside the floor team supporting the restaurant service by managing a section of tables across the evening - greeting customers as they are seated, taking their drink and food orders, delivering the order when the Runner brings the order from the kitchen to the floor, taking payments and consistently providing a caring touch to the customers.
Other duties will include, resetting tables, preparing crockery and cutlery, folding napkins, running drink orders from the bar to your tables, as well as assisting the management team with any customer issues.
To confirm, THIS IS NOT A FIRST JOB POSITION, OR FOR SOMEONE WITHOUT FINE DINING SERVICE EXPERIENCE! We're seeking an individual with a wealth of demonstrable experience in restaurant service, baosting great customer care skills and a good command of spoken English. The successful candidate MUST have confidence when taking orders with customers, the ability to carry three plates at one time and be able to carry multiple glasses of wine on a trey seamlessly, with no spillages.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE...
- Minimum of one year previous fine dining service experience as a waiter/waitress, working in a busy, fast-paced restaurant
- The ability to deliver high standards and work under pressure
- Confident, professional and welcoming personality
- Great communication and organising skills
- Previous experience of waiting tables / running food
- The ability to work closely with the management team, and take direction direction
- Outstanding standards of personal presentation, hygiene and grooming
- Be passionate and enthusiastic about their job
- Be available to work on Friday and Saturday nights
- Be willing to work evening shifts and weekends, finishing between 12:30am and 1am
- Have the right to work in the UK
- A good command of spoken English (Italian language is a plus)
