We're looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice/Trainee Commercial Executive to join our Commercial Team.
This opportunity may particularly appeal to someone who has recently completed their A-levels or equivalent and is looking to build a long-term career rather than continue into higher education. However, we welcome applications from anyone with a desire to succeed in the role.
No previous industry experience is needed. Bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, and we'll teach you the rest.
The Role
You'll learn every stage of the customer journey, from initial enquiries and preparing quotations through to production and delivery of the finished product.
Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll develop the knowledge and confidence to:
- Build strong relationships with customers.
- Prepare accurate quotations and understand how packaging costs are calculated.
- Learn about materials, printing processes and packaging manufacture.
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing and Design teams.
- Manage multiple projects, priorities and customer expectations.
- Develop the commercial skills to support both Customer Service and Estimating.
As your confidence grows, you'll begin managing your own customer accounts and become a trusted member of the Commercial Team, supporting both Customer Service and Estimating.

Desirable (but not essential)
- Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Product Design or CAD experience.
