About the opportunity
We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development & Client Growth Manager to join Ginger Digital, an award-winning B2B marketing agency.
This role combines new business development and account growth, ideal for someone who enjoys winning clients, building relationships, and developing long-term commercial partnerships.
You will work with senior decision-makers across manufacturing, engineering, technology and professional services, helping them generate leads and grow revenue by selling our digital marketing services.
This is a performance-focused role where success is measured by outcomes - not activity.

A day in the life
Much of this role is about self-management - working your own pipeline, prioritising calls and deciding where to focus your time. Alongside this, you'll attend exhibitions and trade shows roughly one day every other week.
What you'll be doing
- Generating new business via outbound calls, email, LinkedIn and networking
- Following up leads on the telephone
- Running client meetings, writing and pitching proposals
- Growing existing accounts and identifying upsell opportunities
- Keeping the CRM and pipeline up to date
- Attending exhibitions and trade shows
Top 10% Candidate Filter
This role will suit someone in the top 10% of B2B sales professionals who thrives in a performance-driven environment.
You will be confident opening conversations with senior decision-makers, comfortable working outbound to generate opportunities, and motivated by building long-term commercial value rather than short-term transactions.
If you prefer structured scripts, reactive inbound sales, or low-pressure account management, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.
About you
- Proven B2B sales or business development experience (agency experience beneficial)
- You must have a minimum of 3 years experience in B2B sales
- Confident speaking with senior decision-makers
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound prospecting and follow-up calls
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Commercially driven and motivated by results
- Highly organised with strong CRM discipline
- Resilient, consistent, and self-motivated
- Strong communicator with a consultative approach
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required.

Salary & Earnings
- £35,000–£40,000 basic salary
- Realistic year 1 earnings: approx. £47,000
- Realistic year 2 onwards: approx. £55,000+
- Uncapped, quarterly bonus based on gross profit from new business
