Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Sign Vinyl Installer to join our in-house team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality vinyl graphics and signage in a professional and efficient manner. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning to ensure optimal adhesion of vinyl graphics
- Measure, cut, and align vinyl materials accurately according to design specifications
- Weed, prepare and apply vinyl decals, lettering, and graphics onto various surfaces
- Use specialised tools such as squeegees, knives, and heat guns to ensure smooth application without bubbles or wrinkles. To use laminating machines (roll to roll) and print machine setup where necessary.
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with the latest vinyl application techniques and industry standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in vinyl application or sign installation of at least 1 year is required, ongoing training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour accuracy and alignment
- Good manual dexterity and steady hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of measuring tools and safety procedures related to sign installation
- A proactive attitude with excellent organisational skills
