HGV Class 2 Driver – Site Services, Runtech Ltd
Runtech is a national leading managed service provider specialising in manned and unmanned vehicle, plant, and transport solutions. We have a great opportunity for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Operative here at Runtech, based within site services, Port Talbot. This is a full-time position, supporting the delivery of essential infrastructure and environmental services across one of the UK's largest industrial sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a range of specialist vehicles and equipment while contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the site. Reliability and customer satisfaction is key.
The Role:
· Driving and operating a range of Class 2 vehicles, including but not limited to: Vacuum tankers, water jetting units, Road Sweepers and Gritting Vehicles
· Carrying out vehicle inspections and completing daily defect reports.
· Maintaining accurate shift records and operational documentation.
· Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and client procedures
· Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, vehicle care and equipment maintenance.
· Working effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
· Supporting additional site services activities as required by the business.
Skills and Experience:
. Previous experience operating Vaccum tankers, road sweepers or similar specialist equipment.
·Helping to maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety Procedures
· Self motivated, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
· Ability to follow procedures and safe systems of work.
· Good communication and organisational skills
Skills and Qualifications:
· HGV Class 2 Licence
· Valid Driver CPC qualification
. Digital Tachograph Card.
. CCNSG Safety Passport qualification
. Maximum of 6 points on licence for Insurance purposes.
Package:
- Competitive rates of pay, paid weekly in arrears
- Working Hours 7.45am to 4.15pm, Monday to Friday inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break.
- Overtime: Overtime is paid after the completion of your basic working hours (40 hours)
- 28 days holiday per year inclusive of bank holidays
- Auto enrolled into company pension scheme
- Uniform and PPE Provided
The successful candidate will be subject to our induction process that will include drug & alcohol testing and vehicle licence check.
