Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively and friendly environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a good understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including sanitising surfaces and glassware
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Assist in restocking supplies and organising stock levels
- Engage with customers to create a positive experience and handle any queries or complaints professionally
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently
Skills
- Proven hospitality experience or familiarity with bar operations is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is preferred
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Good communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn new skills
