We’re looking for an experienced barber to join UNDERFOUND in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
This is an opportunity for somebody who wants more than simply another chair in another barbershop.
UNDERFOUND has developed a strong independent identity around barbering, fashion, retail, music, content and creative culture, and we’re looking for a barber who wants to become part of that.
Applicants must hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Hairdressing or Barbering.

50/50 revenue split
- No fixed chair rental
- Suitable if you’re still developing your client base

£60/day chair rental

What matters to us
We’re looking for somebody who:
- Holds a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing or Barbering
- Has strong professional barbering experience
- Takes genuine pride in their work
- Treats clients properly
- Is reliable and professional
- Understands the importance of building long-term client relationships
- Can provide examples of their work through Instagram or a portfolio
- Wants to continue developing their career
Having an existing client base is beneficial but isn’t essential, depending on which working arrangement you choose.
