Workflow administrator (37.5 hours/wk)
- Medical data coding – processing clinical documents and ensuring medical data is coded correctly
- Secretarial duties – typing referral letters and sending them to the appropriate organisation via the clinical system
- Admin tasks – registrations, private insurance form processing
- Team working - effective collaboration to ensure completion of shared tasks
Working Pattern
- 37.5 hours per week
- Non working days: Saturday & Sunday
- 8.00 am – 4.00 pm
- Ad hoc overtime required to cover absences
Applicant Requirements
- A passion for helping people
- High-level literacy/typing skills
- Administration experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- IT skills (particularly IT document system and email)
- Resilience to work in a busy environment involving high task volumes
- Professionalism
- Logical & methodical
- GSCE Maths / English or equivalent C or above
Previous experience in a similar role in general practice would be an advantage, but not essential, as training is provided.
