Lakeland Paints are one of the leading manufacturer of Solvent-free paints in the UK.
We are currently looking for a new member of staff to join our friendly warehouse team.
This role would primarily be spent on the packing bench, and covering the second phone line, but will also learn the role of mixing raw material in the back room on occasion. Overalls and PPE will be provided.
Location: Heysham, Lancashire
Hours: 9:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Checking and Packing orders
- Manual lifting of paint cans and boxes of paint
- Manage customer orders in a timely fashion
- Answer phone calls, receiving orders and offering advice when required (Training will be provided)
- Mixing and Creating paint from raw material using machinery
- Routine machine maintenance, cleaning IBC's
- Keep working area clean and tidy
The candidate should be flexible, willing to learn and help out in all parts of the business. Good basic computer skills are essential As we are Specialist Company training will be provided in all aspects of the business, no previous experience is required.
