Magpie Security are a family run company looking to recruit a new Security Officer Team to provide positive and professional standards at a clients property in central Leicester. This is a regular ongoing position for a long term prestigious client operating at the top of its field..
Ideally, the right candidate will have had previous experience as a Security Officer in a corporate environment, be fluent in Witten and Spoken English and understand the value of providing a high level of service. Full training will be provided for this role, candidates will also need to be confident using a smartphone and tablet computers.
All recruits should have the availability to cover either Day Time and Night Time shifts where required. 4 on 4 off shift pattern will be used if the right team is assembled, otherwise a regular shift pattern will be assigned.
Main Duties
- Greeting all visitors and staff who enter the premises, checking ID, signing them in and directing them as needed.
- Protecting our client and their assets from harm and incident.
- Taking deliveries and informing the relevant staff.
- Monitoring CCTV.
- Liaising with the emergency services where required.
- Understanding escalation procedures and departmental functions around the clients business.
- Provide customer / client liaison as and when required.
- Assist with Fire Alarm Activations.
- Ensuring security logs are clearly written, being kept up to date and detailed.
- Complete all necessary paperwork.
Candidates will need a checkable work history, for the previous five years.
