Football Coach Required - Lvl 2-4 Sports Coach Apprenticeship Position -
We have a position available coaching children between the ages of 4-11 at 5 schools within our organisation.
The duties include registration of participants, handling of monies, leadership of staff and participants, organisation of sporting session, health and safety monitoring of participants and equipment and delivery or sporting session.
The applicant must be enthusiastic to coach, have the personality to engage and inspire young people, and be able to lead and develop young people between the ages of 4-12.
Please do not apply for this role if you do not hold an in date sports qualification, or own transport to get to schools.
Hours below could be flexible, however applicant must be available for 3.30pm for after school sessions.
Apprenticeship:
The successful applicant will be enrolled in to an apprenticeship with our Learning Provider, SCL - and undertake a 12-18 month apprenticeship fitting their level.
Apprenticeship Options;
Level 2 - Community Activator
Level 4- Sports Coach
Hours required - 16hr contract & 8 hours study time per week.
Monday 3.30-4.30
Tuesday 1.00-4.30 tbc
Wednesday 3.30-4.30
Thursday 9.00-4.30 (September to end of October, then only 3.30-4.30)
Friday 1.00 - 3.30-4.30

Wage: Apprenticeship Wage - £8ph
School Holidays - 9am-3.30pm
Applicants must be available weekly and hold the following certificates/requirements:
- DBS - Police check form* can gain with us
- Safe Guarding - In date and clean
- FA Level 1 - In any sports field, ideally football
- First Aid - In date
- Experience - Applicant must have experience in running a session with young people.
