Job Title: Fully Skilled Service Technician

About Us: At Berwick Service Station, we are a small, friendly, independent garage with a strong reputation for excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship. Our experienced team takes pride in keeping our customers vehicles safe, reliable, and roadworthy. We are now looking for Fully and Semi Skilled Service Technicians to join our workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out full vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical faults across a range of vehicles
- Complete routine servicing tasks including brakes, tyres, suspension, exhausts, and engine servicing
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional work required
- Use diagnostic equipment to accurately fault-find and repair vehicles
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with workshop standards
- Maintain accurate job records and provide clear technical feedback
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience as a skilled service technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models however this is not essential
- MOT Tester Licence or willingness to work towards one
