Y.E.S. Your Equipment Solutions Ltd is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer / Mobile Plant Fitter to join our Edinburgh team.
You’ll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of plant and hire equipment, working both at our Edinburgh depot and out on customer sites.

The Role
· Diagnose, service and repair plant and hire equipment
· Attend breakdowns and repairs at customer sites
· Work on equipment including excavators, diggers, dumpers, rollers, trailers, welfare cabins, pressure washers and compressors
· Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance
· Fit and maintain app-based tracking systems on larger equipment
· Prepare equipment to a high standard for hire
· Work independently in the field and effectively manage repair priorities
· Provide excellent service and communication to customers
· Work closely with our wider team of fitters and engineers
What We’re Looking For
· Essential experience as an Engineer, Plant Fitter or Technician
· Strong mechanical fault-finding, servicing and repair skills
· Experience working with plant and machinery
· Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site
· Good communication and customer service skills
· Full UK Driving Licence & Right to work in the UK
Desirable experience within the tool and plant hire industry would be a strong advantage.
Hours, Salary & Benefits
Monday–Friday: 7:00am–5:00pm
One Saturday in three: 8:00am–12:00pm
· £33,500–£36,000 salary, depending on experience and qualifications
