Overview
Elite Cleaning Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our team at a local school. The role involves maintaining high cleaning standards to ensure a safe, hygienic environment for staff and pupils.
Duties include:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
- Replenishing cleaning supplies
- Following COSHH guidelines
- Following health and safety and safeguarding procedures
This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including class rooms, staff rooms, offices, toilets, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to client requests promptly and courteously.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in English is necessary for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Excellent attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS Check (required) – applicants must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one before starting work.
- Strong customer service skills are essential to ensure client satisfaction.
