Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity as Contracts Lawyer available on a full-time basis (Monday-Friday/35 hours). We are looking to recruit a dynamic Contracts Lawyer with a ‘can do’ approach and an interest in learning new skills to join our fantastic Contracts Team.
As Contracts Lawyer you will: have a large, varied caseload consisting of strategically significant procurements as well as contracts and governance matters. You will join at an exciting time as the council responds to the challenges and opportunities presented by the Procurement Act 2023.
The role will involve working collaboratively with staff and colleagues. You will also need strong communication and negotiation skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to forge productive working relationships across the Council and with local partners.
Our ideal Contracts Lawyer will be an experienced Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with minimum of 5 years PQE and proven expertise in contracts and procurement law in a local authority environment.
You must have the right to work in the UK. Evidence for the right to work in the UK will be requested at the interview stage.
