Position: CNC Machinist – Setter/Operator (SCM CNC Machines)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Overtime may be available as needed)
About Us: An excellent opportunity has arisen at a well-established and successful Timber Window company that has been in operation for over 25 years. We specialise in producing high-quality timber products and are looking for a talented CNC Machinist to join our growing team.
Main Duties:
- CNC Programming & Operation: Set, program, and operate SCM 5 Axis CNC machines, as well as the SCM Windor machine.
- Quality Control: Ensure your work meets the highest standards by performing quality checks on your own output.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve machine issues, adjusting offsets and coordinates as needed to ensure smooth operation.
- Reading Technical Drawings: Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Training: You will also be expected to learn and operate the SCM Windor 20L jointing machine.
Skills and Experience:
- CNC Programming: Must have at least 3 years of experience in CNC programming, with a focus on timber or woodworking.
- Machine Knowledge: Experience with SCM or similar CNC machines is highly desirable. You must be able to quickly adapt to new machinery.
- Technical Drawings: Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings and translate them into precise machine instructions.
- Proactive Team Player: You should be a motivated, flexible team player with a "can-do" attitude.
