Beyond Futures is recruiting on behalf of a children’s residential provider for an exciting opportunity within a solo children’s home in Bradford.
We are seeking either an experienced Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager to join a provider committed to delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for children and young people.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key leadership role within a children’s residential setting, supporting the development of the service and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the children’s home.
- Ensure the home operates in accordance with Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Promote positive outcomes and wellbeing for children and young people.
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing and child-centred environment.
- Lead, motivate and develop the residential care team.
- Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals and performance reviews.
- Manage staffing rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Build positive relationships with local authorities, social workers, families and other professionals.
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the ongoing success of the service.
Essential Requirements
- Hold a Level 5 qualification relevant to the management of Children’s Residential Services (essential).
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
