Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, in accordance with company standards.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly.
- Follow food safety regulations diligently to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Manage cash register operations, including handling payments and giving correct change.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks as needed.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers, creating a welcoming environment.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
- Experience in serving customers and basic food preparation skills are advantageous.
- Good basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required.
