Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
- Ensure all drinks are prepared to company standards and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Provide friendly and efficient guest service, addressing customer needs and enquiries with professionalism
- Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system efficiently
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow food safety procedures diligently and adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- At least some Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food handling procedures is advantageous
- Experience in serving or guest services roles demonstrates strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods

Work days available vary from 10am onwards

Shifts range from 10-5 10-3 11-3 10-4
Job will start at minimum wage depending on your experience, ability ect,
