Role Summary
- 40hr per week - Monday-to-Friday (1400-2230hrs)
As a Technical Hygiene Operative, you are responsible for carrying out thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and high-care environments to ensure full compliance with hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Deep cleaning and sanitising of production lines, blending equipment, capsule/tablet machinery, and packaging areas.
- Cleaning of high-care and controlled environments in line with GMP standards.
- Safe handling and correct dilution of cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Completing cleaning records and hygiene documentation accurately.
- Supporting internal and external audit requirements.
- Identifying and reporting any hygiene, maintenance, or safety concerns.
- Working to strict cleaning schedules and production deadlines.
To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- Previous hygiene experience within a nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing environment (minimum 2 years).
- Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety principles.
- Experience with disassembly and reassembly of manufacturing equipment for deep cleaning.
- Ability to follow detailed SOPs and documentation procedures.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
