They are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join their team in Nottingham. The Role – Hydraulic Fitter
As a Hydraulic Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic components used in construction and survey equipment. You will work from engineering drawings and technical specifications, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and maintain hydraulic systems for construction and survey equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults in hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Interpret technical drawings and work from engineering specifications
- Ensure all work meets health, safety, and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve equipment efficiency
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Hydraulic Fitter in construction, plant, or industrial equipment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and schematics
- Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic faults efficiently
- Experience with construction or survey equipment (desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Relevant mechanical or hydraulic engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
