We are recruiting for an Audiology Administrator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
As an Administrator, you will work under direct or indirect supervision, providing comprehensive administrative support to the service. This will include a combination of office-based tasks and front-facing reception duties.
Often working independently, you will also work closely with the wider administration team to book appointments, manage clinic schedules, check patients in, provide reception cover, and respond to telephone enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
The role includes regular reception responsibilities, ensuring patients are welcomed, supported on arrival, and directed appropriately, contributing to a smooth and positive patient experience.
You may also be required to liaise with other departments across the hospital, including Ear, Nose and Throat Secretaries, Central Appointments, the Speech and Language Therapy team, and other Audiology departments.
At the heart of everything we do are our core values: Include, Respect, and Improve. We encourage you to embrace these values throughout the recruitment process and in your role with us.
Managing incoming referrals, ensuring all information is accurately recorded on the relevant systems.
Booking patient appointments into clinics as directed by clinicians.
Sending appointment communications to patients, including letters and text notifications.
Providing reception cover by welcoming patients, checking them in for appointments, and offering relevant information before and after their visit.
Booking follow-up appointments as required to support continuity of care.
Managing and responding to enquiries received via email, ensuring all queries are handled promptly and appropriately.
Checking patients in for the appointment and providing any relevant information prior to or after their appointment
