Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder CO2 to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing precise welding operations, primarily using TIG welding techniques, to fabricate and assemble metal components. This role requires a strong understanding of welding processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various hand tools and power tools. The ideal applicant will have experience in sheet metal work and fabrication, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout production. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on various metal components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical specifications
- Fabricate and assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce high-quality finished products
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication or welding issues
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately
- Assist in the setup and preparation of welding equipment before commencing work
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Conduct quality checks on completed welds and assemblies to ensure compliance with company standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in TIG welding, with a strong focus on CO2 (TIG) processes
- Knowledge of <LOCATION> welding techniques and standards
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Strong understanding of sheet metal work and basic assembly procedures
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications or training in welding are desirable but not essential; however, practical experience is required.
Pay: £2,035.00-£6,892.40 per month
