Sales Manager - Steam Turbines
Location: Peterborough , England, United Kingdom, PE4 5HG
Company: Chart Industries
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive the growth of our new-build steam turbine business.
Working as part of a global engineering organisation, you'll be responsible for developing and winning high-value capital equipment opportunities across offshore energy, oil & gas, power generation and industrial markets. The role focuses exclusively on the sale of new steam turbine packages and solutions, engaging with EPCs, end users, consultants and contractors on complex engineering projects from initial enquiry through to contract award.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with experience selling rotating equipment into offshore and energy markets. Candidates with a background in steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, turboexpanders or other engineered rotating equipment will be particularly well suited.
We're specifically seeking individuals with experience of new-build capital equipment sales, rather than aftermarket services, maintenance contracts or spare parts sales.
About Us
Howden Turbo UK, incorporating Peter Brotherhood, is a leading designer and manufacturer of steam turbine solutions serving customers across the energy, industrial, offshore and power generation sectors.

From its Peterborough facility, the business delivers engineered solutions for some of the world's most demanding applications, supporting customers where reliability, efficiency and performance are critical.
In 2021, Peter Brotherhood became part of Howden, a global engineering business with a long-standing heritage in mission-critical technologies and industrial process solutions. The acquisition expanded Howden's rotating equipment portfolio and provided Peter Brotherhood with access to a global customer network, enhanced investment and new routes to market.
Today, Howden is part of Baker Hughes, one of the world's leading energy technology companies. Together, we combine the agility and specialist expertise of Peter Brotherhood with the global reach, financial strength and innovation capability of Baker Hughes. This enables us to support customers worldwide as they navigate the evolving energy landscape, improve operational performance and advance their sustainability objectives.
Joining our team means becoming part of a business that combines engineering heritage with global ambition. You'll work alongside experienced technical and commercial professionals, helping deliver world-class steam turbine solutions on major projects across international markets.
