About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Overnight Cleaning Team Member to keep our Shakebee store clean, hygienic and ready for the next day’s service.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and is comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
● Thoroughly clean and sanitise the kitchen, food preparation areas and equipment
● Clean floors, walls, counters, tables and other surfaces
● Clean and sanitise customer and staff areas
● Clean toilets and maintain high hygiene standards
● Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly
● Deep clean kitchen equipment and hard-to-reach areas as required
● Ensure cleaning products and equipment are stored safely
● Follow all food hygiene, health & safety and cleaning procedures
● Identify and report any maintenance, damage or hygiene issues to management
● Ensure the store is clean, organised and ready for opening
● Complete overnight cleaning tasks according to the store cleaning checklist
● Work efficiently and complete all required duties within the allocated shift
What We’re Looking For
● Previous cleaning, hospitality or food service experience is preferred but not essential
● Extremely reliable and punctual
● Strong attention to detail
● High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
● Able to work independently without constant supervision
● Physically capable of standing, bending and carrying out cleaning duties throughout the shift
● Hardworking and responsible
● Good understanding of workplace health & safety
● Flexible availability for overnight shifts
● Able to follow instructions and cleaning procedures consistently
