The Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint Skilled Fabricators to join the night shift team at our Ossett site. This is a hands-on role working on a range of bespoke, high-specification fabrications where accuracy, consistency and self-sufficiency are essential. You will play a key part in supporting production targets while maintaining Hartwell’s high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate components and assemblies from technical drawings using carbon and/or stainless steel
Work across a range of material thicknesses depending on project requirements
Mark out, prepare and assemble fabrications to a high standard
Work independently on shift while maintaining strong communication with supervisors
Support welding and fitting activities where required across acoustic enclosure and structural projects
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a fabrication role within heavy engineering or similar environments
Confident working with both carbon and stainless steel
Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
Experience within acoustic enclosures or structural steel would be advantageous
Night shift hours and uplift will be discussed at interview. Overtime opportunities are regularly available.
