Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will perform a variety of physical tasks to support construction, maintenance, and site operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment around the worksite
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary supplies and safety barriers
- Support skilled tradespeople by holding tools, fetching supplies, and performing basic tasks as directed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others
- Perform general site maintenance including debris removal, waste disposal, and minor repairs
- Help with site setup and breakdown for daily activities or special projects
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction or maintenance sites (training provided if needed)
- Prior experience in manual labour or construction is a plus but not required
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
