About Us
Young Talent Swim School is a growing swim school with venues across multiple locations. We specialise in private and very small group lessons (maximum of 4 swimmers per class), allowing every session to be fully tailored to each swimmer’s individual needs.
Our approach creates a calm, supportive learning environment, ideal for both children and adults, particularly those who may feel overwhelmed or overlooked in larger group settings. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalised lessons that build confidence, develop strong technique, and promote water safety at every stage.
We are currently seeking a Swimming Instructor to deliver private and small-group lessons at our Duchally venue, in Auchterarder.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for children and adults
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons tailored to different abilities and learning styles
- Provide constructive feedback to help swimmers achieve their individual goals
- Teach and develop strong technique across all four strokes
- Promote and reinforce essential water safety skills
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and welcoming atmosphere
- Demonstrate a willingness to continue developing their own skills and knowledge
This role is ideal for an instructor who enjoys working in a calm, focused setting and values quality teaching over high-volume group sessions.
Essential Qualifications
- National Governing Body Swimming Teacher Certificate (SSTQ / UKCC / STA / ASA)
Desirable (Not Essential)
- 1+ years of swimming teaching experience
- Previous competitive swimming experience
Working Hours
Lessons take place:
- Mondays (3:30pm-7:30pm)
- Tuesdays (4pm-7:30pm)
- Thursdays (4pm-7pm)
