We are looking for an experienced, passionate and ambitious Deputy Manager to join our leadership team and help us continue delivering exceptional person-centred care.
The Role
Working alongside the Care Home Manager and Registered Manager, you will play a key role in developing the service, supporting the team and maintaining the highest standards of care.
Initially, you will work one supernumerary shift per week, leading the team on the floor, coaching staff and ensuring that learning is translated from theory into practice. You will be instrumental in ensuring policies, procedures and best practices are consistently followed.
As the vital link between frontline teams and office-based management, you will be an excellent communicator who can adapt your approach to different audiences, inspire others and bring out the very best in your team.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager within a residential or dementia care setting
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A passion for developing and supporting others
- A sound understanding of quality standards, compliance and person-centred care
- The ability to lead by example and nurture a positive culture
