We are looking for an Operations Analyst who can review business processes identify performance gaps and turn operational data into practical recommendations. You will work closely with managers project teams and internal departments to improve efficiency support decision making and help the company deliver a consistent service to its clients.
This is a mid level role suited to someone who enjoys solving operational problems working with data and coordinating improvements across different areas of a business.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Performance Analysis:
Review operational data service levels workloads and key performance indicators to identify trends risks and improvement opportunities.
Process Improvement:
Map existing workflows identify delays or duplicated activity and recommend practical changes that improve efficiency and service quality.
Reporting and Dashboards:
Prepare regular reports dashboards and management summaries using accurate and clearly presented information.
Data Quality:
Check operational records for accuracy completeness and consistency. Work with relevant teams to resolve reporting issues and improve data collection methods.
Stakeholder Support:
Work with department managers and project teams to understand operational challenges define requirements and support evidence based decisions.
Resource Planning:
Assist with workload forecasting staffing analysis capacity planning and the monitoring of operational demand.
Project Support:
Contribute to improvement projects by gathering information tracking actions measuring results and preparing progress updates.
Risk Identification:
Highlight operational risks control weaknesses and recurring service issues before they have a significant impact on customers or business performance.
Documentation:
Maintain process maps standard operating procedures analysis records and improvement recommendations.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 2 to 4 years of experience in operations analysis business analysis reporting workforce planning or a similar commercial environment.
Analytical Skills:
You can interpret operational information recognise patterns and explain what the data means in clear business language.
Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including formulas pivot tables data validation and reporting functions. Experience with Power BI Tableau or similar reporting tools would be beneficial.
Process Knowledge:
A good understanding of workflow analysis performance measurement continuous improvement and operational controls.
Communication:
You can present findings clearly write professional reports and work confidently with managers and colleagues from different departments.
Organisation:
You can manage multiple reporting deadlines maintain accurate records and prioritise tasks without losing attention to detail.
Problem Solving:
You take a practical approach to operational challenges and focus on recommendations that teams can realistically implement.
Pay: £30,479.00-£40,000.00 per year
