Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Casual Event Staff to join our team for an event this Saturday (27th June). Duties
- Welcome guests and ensure they receive courteous and attentive service throughout the event
- Assist with food and beverage service, including setting up tables, serving dishes, and clearing after use
- Support catering operations by preparing food items in line with food safety standards and event requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Provide information to guests about event programmes or menu options as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of events from start to finish
- Handle guest enquiries professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during specialised events as needed
- Experience in hotel or culinary settings is a plus but not mandatory
