We are seeking a motivated and energetic Ecommerce Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in everyday warehouse operations, ensuring smooth stock movement, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse
- Operate pallet trucks safely and effectively to transport heavy or bulky items
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments accurately
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update records in real time
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch with precision and attention to detail
- Stock shelves systematically, ensuring products are organized for easy access and inventory accuracy
- Conduct quality control checks to identify damaged or defective items and ensure standards are met
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in ecommerce or logistics environments
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as pallet trucks is desirable.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse equipment can be beneficial for troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong attention to detail for quality control tasks and order accuracy
- Willingness to perform load & unload duties as needed in a physically demanding setting
