Role Overview
Aston Group is seeking a Site Manager responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management, coordination and safe delivery of works across multiple project sites. The role plays a key part in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors and operational teams.
The sucessful candidate will act as the main site-based point of contact, leading technicians and subcontractors, monitoring site activities and ensuring compliance with Aston Group procedures, Health and Safety requirements and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the primary site-based point of contact for clients, technicians and subcontractors.
- Coordinate and provide site access for technicians and subcontractors.
- Lead and supervise site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and timely.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship and materials meet required standards and specifications.
- Monitor attendance and maintain accurate site sign-in/sign-out records.
- Ensure project activities are progressing in line with the programme of works.
- Maintain clean, safe and organised working environments across all sites.
- Report site progress, issues and updates to the Mechanical Contracts Manager.
- Support site mobilisation, setup and project close out activities.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Aston Group's health and safety policy and procedures.
- Promote a positive site culture aligned to Aston Group's values and standards.
Qualifications
- SMSTS (training can be provided if required)
- Asbestos Awareness
- First Aid at Work
Experience
- Previous experience with a mechanical background gained working on the tools or a supervisory role in construction, M&E, engineering or related environments.
- Good understanding of Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and site operations.
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements within construction environments.
