Are you passionate about empowering women to rebuild their lives and achieve independence?
We are excited to launch Sherwood Street Women’s Service, a brand-new 24-hour supported accommodation service providing safe, secure, and supportive housing for women experiencing Severe Multiple Disadvantage (SMD), Domestic Abuse (DA), and have complex needs.
We are looking for three dedicated and motivated Support Workers to join our new team and play a key role in helping women overcome challenges, build confidence, and move towards a positive future.
About the Service
Sherwood Street Women's Service offers accommodation for up to eight women who may be experiencing Domestic abuse, severe multiple disadvantaged alongside a range of complex needs. Our aim is to provide a safe environment where women can receive practical and emotional support to help them take the next steps towards independent living.
Previous experience within homelessness, housing, mental health, domestic abuse, substance misuse, or support services is desirable, but we also welcome applications from people who share our values and are eager to learn.
This is not a personal care role. Instead, you will focus on helping residents develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to create lasting change.
