Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
- Provide high-quality care, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in the nursery
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through personalised interaction
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Foster effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children's needs and achievements
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, promoting teamwork and professional growth
- Ensure the nursery complies with all health and safety regulations and policies
- Assist with organising daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
- Contribute to the organisation of special events and activities within the nursery setting
Skills
- Proven experience in management and leadership within a childcare or nursery environment
- Strong working knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience, creativity, and enthusiasm
- Experience in nursery settings or similar early years environments is highly desirable
- Good organisational skills with the ability to plan engaging activities tailored to different age groups
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children or attending external events

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,438.50 per year
