Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Referee to officiate matches in a 5 a side football league, located at the 3G pitches at The Halo Aerospace Stadium in Morecambe. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the rules and regulations of the game, ensuring fair play and maintaining the integrity of the sport. This role requires excellent communication skills, quick decision-making abilities, and a passion for sportsmanship.
Duties
- Officiate matches by enforcing the rules and regulations of the sport.
- Make quick and accurate decisions regarding fouls, penalties, and other game-related incidents.
- Maintain control over the match environment, ensuring that all participants adhere to the rules.
- Communicate effectively with players, and other officials to facilitate smooth gameplay.
- Keep track of time and score during matches, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Attend pre-match briefings as required to stay updated on match night information.
Experience
- Previous experience as a referee or official in football is preferred but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of the rules and regulations specific to the sport being officiated.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle conflict calmly and professionally.
- Ability to remain impartial and make decisions without bias.
