Clark Wood are currently recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a respected firm of Chartered Accountants based in Carlisle.
This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified, ACA / ACCA part-qualified or experienced Accounts Assistant looking to progress their career within a supportive accountancy practice.
Working with a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, you will gain exposure across accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts.
The Role
- Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients.
- Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping.
- Supporting management accounts and ad hoc assignments.
- Using accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
- Liaising with clients and supporting senior members of the team.
About You
- AAT qualified or studying towards ACA / ACCA.
- Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong accounts preparation and bookkeeping skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Experience with cloud accounting software.
