Where will you be working?
This role sits within our Plant & Fleet department, supporting the business with vehicle, plant, and specialist equipment solutions that are safe, compliant, and cost-effective.
Based in Stevenage or Castleford, the role will require regular national travel.
We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with a vehicle rental or fleet operations background, especially those working as a Fleet Rental Branch Manager, Fleet Rental Assistant Branch Manager, or similar, looking to take the next step into a broader fleet function.
What will you be doing?
As Fleet Logistics Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day coordination of our fleet, ensuring assets are deployed efficiently and effectively across the business.
You’ll work closely with internal teams to maximise utilisation, reduce external hire, and support overall fleet performance and strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate fleet allocation and deployment
- Maximise utilisation and reduce external hire
- Act as a key link between teams and stakeholders
- Track vehicle availability and maximise uptime
- Support compliance and reporting activities
- Manage supplier and partner relationships
What you’ll bring
- Experience in fleet, rental, or leasing environments
- Background as a Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, or similar
- Strong stakeholder management and organisational skills
- Analytical mindset with good Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
