Job Summary
We are seeking experienced SIA Door Supervisors to join our security team in. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at various venues and events. This role requires professionalism, vigilance, and excellent communication skills to ensure the safety of all patrons and staff. Prior experience in surveillance, loss prevention, and CCTV operation is highly desirable, along with first aid certification. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on high standards of security and customer service.
Duties
- Monitor entry points and control access to venues, ensuring only authorised individuals are permitted entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or irregularities.
- Operate CCTV systems effectively to observe and record activities within the venue.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or unauthorised access.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Ensure all security procedures comply with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
Qualifications
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential.
- First aid certification is highly advantageous.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrols across large venues or outdoor areas.
