An exciting opportunity to coordinate and lead a production shift during a period of growth, driving operational performance, continuous improvement, and high standards across all High Risk functions.
The Role
This role is responsible for coordinating the operational management of the department and optimising profitability in line with short and long term business strategies, goals, and objectives.
You will lead and direct all High Risk functions to ensure customer requirements and expectations are consistently achieved across delivery, efficiency, food safety, and quality. Working closely with the wider management team, you will play a key role in driving operational performance, developing teams, and supporting the continued growth of the site.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Complete all tasks in line with company procedures and risk assessments

Handle food products in accordance with hygiene, quality, and housekeeping standards

Work collaboratively with other department managers to support site performance and future growth

Lead, manage, and support the production team to ensure operational objectives and standards are achieved

Develop, implement, and monitor operational KPIs and financial controls to drive performance

Promote and lead a continuous improvement culture using GMP tools and methodologies
-
Create and deliver projects focused on cost management and operational efficiency

Ensure standards relating to product quality, hygiene, equipment, technical compliance, and operator performance are consistently maintained

Build and maintain effective working relationships across the management team

Manage disciplinary and grievance processes in line with company procedures

Support additional management activities and operational requirements as needed

Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives beneficial
