Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, following safety and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked
- Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving policies
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling payments and giving change
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, intervening when necessary in accordance with food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods and support other areas as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly, and work in a lively setting
