Pranzo Italian Harrogate is a restaurant looking for a passionate chef de Partie to join our busy restaurant, we have opportunities at multiple sites & a structured career pathway for the right candidate to progress.
The journey of Pranzo began in Calabria, Southern Italy where Marco drew inspiration from his Nonna's homemade pasta, recipes and passion for fresh produce. We opened our first independant restaurant in Ilkley, 2018 and due to success we opened our second restaurant in Harrogate in 2020.
What are we looking for?
- Having good organisational skills and comfortable working in a busy and fast paced kitchen
- Follow all HACCAP procedures with the kitchen whilst on service
- All orders from suppliers must be checked and accounted for freshness and quality
- Be courteous towards other staff in the kitchen
- Be able to memorise and produce dishes to spec, with correct weights/ingredients
- Run an organised efficient and clean section.
- Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, presentation standards
- Arrive on time, in correct uniform ready to work
- Take part in monthly staff training meetings to go through new dishes, ideas and improve consistency
What is needed?
- Show a strong level of kitchen communication during service
- A good knowledge of kitchen techniques including bread making, pasta making and pastry chef knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Attention to detail when plating up with a high level of consistency
- Self-motivated and present a professional personality
- A flexible approach to work/overtime required given the growth period we are currently on
- Held a similar position within a quality graded establishment

Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
