Part-Time HR & Office Administrator
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive HR & Office Administrator to join our charity. This is a standalone role supporting both our HR functions and day-to-day office administration. The successful candidate will work closely with management to ensure efficient administration, compliance, and communication across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee records and maintain confidential HR files
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, and preparing offer letters
- Support onboarding and induction processes for new employees
- Process new starter and leaver documentation
- Monitor staff attendance, holidays, and absence records
- Assist with payroll administration and provide accurate employee information when required
- Ensure HR and employment records are maintained in line with legal and organisational requirements
- Provide general office administration support, including managing correspondence, filing, and maintaining records
- Coordinate training and professional development records
- Support internal communications and staff engagement activities
- Assist with social media and other administrative projects as required
- Liaise with external providers and maintain effective office systems
Essential Requirements
- Previous administrative experience, ideally with some HR responsibilities
- Good understanding of HR administration and confidentiality requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and manage a standalone HR and administration function
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Friendly, professional, and approachable manner

Desirable
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- HR qualification (e.g. CIPD Level 3 or above)
- Experience working in the charity, education, or childcare sector
Pay: Up to £25,500.00 per year
