- £45,000–£50,000 – Fully qualified (G39, HEA, IPAF, EUSR, NRSWA) with fault-finding experience + Overtime + company van/MEWP
- £50,000–£55,000 – Senior Installer/Lead Operative with HIAB, HGV, supervisory ability or standby experience + Overtime + company van/MEWP
- Overtime paid at 1.5x weekdays and 2x Sundays/Bank HolidaysAbout the Role
We are looking for an experienced Street Lighting Installer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and safety-conscious individual with a strong background in street lighting installation, maintenance, and electrical works.
You'll be responsible for installing street lighting assets while ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair street lighting columns, lanterns, signs, and associated electrical equipment.
- Carry out fault finding, testing, and commissioning of street lighting installations.
- Work safely in accordance with industry regulations, company procedures, and health and safety legislation.
- Operate plant and equipment safely, including MEWPs where qualified.
- Complete job documentation accurately using handheld devices or paperwork.
- Participate in standby and emergency call-out rotas where required.
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in public areas.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Street Lighting Installer or Highways Lighting Operative.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- G39 authorisation (or willingness to obtain).
- Full UK driving licence.
- EUSR
- Strong understanding of safe working practices and electrical regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- HEA registration.
- IPAF qualification.
- CSCS/ECS card.
- First Aid qualification.
- Street Works (NRSWA) certification.
Desirable Qualifications
- Hiab qualification.
- HGV licence.
