About the Role
As Room Leader, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive. You'll lead your team by example, deliver high-quality learning experiences and support every child to reach their full potential.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- At least 2 years' experience working in a nursery, preschool or primary education setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for delivering outstanding childcare and education
- Positive attitude with a proactive, can-do approach
- A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's development
Desirable
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Food Safety certification
- Ambitious graduates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
- Plan and lead engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing and happiness of every child.
- Lead, motivate and support your room team.
- Coach and develop team members to help them grow professionally.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress.
- Maintain accurate observations, assessments and attendance records.
- Support nursery management with the day-to-day running of the setting.
- Help create a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for children, families and colleagues.
