Gelcoat Sprayer – Shower Tray Manufacturing
Shires Bathrooms Ltd is looking for a skilled and reliable Gelcoat Sprayer to join our manufacturing team in Keighley.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing UK manufacturer of premium gelcoat shower trays, working in a modern production environment with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
The role
You will be responsible for spraying gelcoat into shower tray moulds within our dedicated spray booth, ensuring a high-quality finish and consistent application across a range of tray sizes and designs.
Key responsibilities
- Spray gelcoat into shower tray moulds to the required specification and thickness.
- Prepare moulds before spraying, including cleaning and checking mould condition.
- Mix and catalyse gelcoat accurately.
- Monitor spray quality and maintain a consistent finish.
- Carry out visual quality checks.
- Keep the spray booth and work area clean and organised.
- Follow all health & safety procedures, including the use of PPE and spray booth controls.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in gelcoat spraying, GRP/composites, fibreglass, or industrial spray applications.
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Ability to work consistently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A reliable and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of gelcoat mixing ratios and spray equipment is desirable, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
