The Role
We're looking for a motivated, detail-focused Car Finance Assistant to join our finance team. You'll play a key part in progressing finance applications, keeping our systems and paperwork accurate, and making sure customers get a smooth, well-communicated finance journey from application through to settlement. This is a fast-paced, phone- and process-heavy role suited to someone who's organised, comfortable on the phone, and good with detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow-up calling – manage a structured 3-day follow-up cycle for appointments: calling, taking notes, updating DealerKit and the tracking spreadsheet, and working each lead through to conversion
- iVendi leads – call all iVendi finance leads across a 3-day cycle (2–3 calls per day) plus follow-up emails
- Enquiry management – review daily sales enquiries, identify finance-related leads, and contact by phone and email
- Proposal tracking – upload supporting documents for finance deals sent to lenders and keep the proposal tracker up to date (e.g. marking off tabs once documents are uploaded)
- Settlements support – assist the Finance Controller with settlements: matching HPI settlement figures against settlement letters, chasing sales executives for any outstanding paperwork, and updating DealerKit financials and the settlement spreadsheet
- Renewals – call existing finance customers ahead of their agreement end date, encouraging an upgrade or new finance agreement
- Deal processing – help input finance deal figures, counter-sign agreements, upload pay-out documentation, and chase sales executives for anything outstanding
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in motor finance is preferred; a background in finance administration and customer service will also be considered
- Confident making outbound calls and managing a structured follow-up process
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with figures and paperwork
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and dealer management systems
- Clear, confident communicator who can explain finance information to customers
- A team player who can liaise effectively with sales staff and lenders

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,000.00 per year
