Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the assembly, maintenance, and operation of production equipment, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various production machinery, adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Assist with assembly tasks, ensuring components are correctly assembled according to specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and report any faults or irregularities promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Support warehouse activities such as inventory management, loading, and unloading materials as required.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to minimise risks within the workspace.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of basic machinery operation is preferred but all training will be provided.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience in assembly processes within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is desirable but all training will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining quality standards.
