Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of bistro operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality control and consistency across all menu items.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality experiences, fostering a positive team environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock control efficiently.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Implement training programmes for staff development in culinary skills, service standards, and safety procedures.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Experience in team management with strong leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving and hospitality standards.
- Previous roles may include hotel or barista experience that demonstrates versatility within the food service industry.
